My visit to Pontiac Pros aka Build a Bandit

took a road trip to Black mountain NC to retrieve Don's 76 Trans Am and look to see if I could find any remnants of other missing cars, This is what I found:

This is what the shop looked like. only a few cars still here, but lots of misc parts (most had damage) and junk sitting around. Luckily Dons Trans Am was still in the shop, but was in disappointing condition to say the least, orig engine gone and replaced with a questionable 350, custom 17 inch honeycombs gone, rear bumper gone, all the engine brackets mia, pulleys, ac stuff, interior stuff, under hood stuff, master cyl and booster, glass, 1 t top..all gone..Paint is  rough and sloppy, lots of work that was done in pics...was not done at all....

1978 Trans Am vin 2W87Z8N142576: basically a stripped hull w/doors. no engine or trans, no front suspension or wheels, filled full of misc parts from several cars, looked like it was getting ready to be missing from this shop before the locks were changed. This car was sold to multiple Bob the Bandit Victims...

1979 Trans Am vin 2W87K9L155131: rough shell, dk blue w/t tops, no engine or trans.

Eds 78 Trans Am vin 2W87Z8N150377: engine gone, trans gone, interior gone, front fenders and hood MIA, I did find the trunk, rear bumper, shaker and a few misc parts for it in the shop. what work was done to it was not good at all, pass rear quarter just wiped with fiberglass, drivers quarter had a partial outer panel lightly tacked in place with out any inner support at all. sad that this was a complete running car when it arrived,...as seen in the last picture.

This is the saddest car/story that was there. This is Rachel's Trans Am vin 2W87Z8L114914: engine gone, trans gone no front clip..and no rear clip...there was nothing left of this poor car...Bob cut this car down to just the parts that had a vin number, and crushed the rest...last pic is a before picture of the car loaded on a trailer and heading for Banditland...
