1979 Macho Turbo TA # 22

1979 DKM # 22 Turbo Macho Trans Am. This rare car is possibly the highest optioned Macho TA built. Starting life as a fully loaded W72 400 4 speed WS6 Trans Am it received the full Macho package including:

HO racing Turbocharged 400 (1 of 22 built)

Nash 5 speed w/short shifter

Fosgate stereo system

Scheel 4015 bucket seats w/matching rear seat

lift off fiberglass hood

oil pressure restorer

trunk mounted battery

power sliding sunroof

upgraded gauge package to include 8K tach and 160 speedo

This car needs a complete restoration but is basically complete and solid Documented by PHS, Mecham Performance and Rob Thomas.

Macho TA's are the only 70's version of the now famous dealer tuner cars of the 60's, Yenko, Berger, Baldwin Motion, Nicki, Royal Bobcat, Mr Norm, ect.
